The best chip shop in the Lower Rhine region! About 10 years ago, still at the old address, I went to Dirk for the first time and have been enthusiastic ever since. I can't do without my specialty French fries and, moreover, Dirk is simply a personable owner :). I have lived in Essen and Münster for a total of 6 years and have not found a comparable chip shop. Nice to live close by again now. An absolute recommendation from me!

Fries / shashlik / schnitzel currywurst always great at Dirk! The only thing I have never been able to experience is the legendary gyros :-P

We moved to Rheinberg about 1 year ago and were looking for the perfect currywurst. We found what we were looking for at the Ossenberger Grill. Mega delicious and very nice owner !!! I haven't had such a delicious shashlik since I was a kid. The meat is so tender it crumbles when you look at it. And the fries are wonderfully crispy and you can taste the fresh fat.

After my wife and I heard a lot of good things about "the" Ossenberger, we now wanted to see it for ourselves. And our conclusion after our first visit: We'll be back. And next time I'll take the shashlik that we were allowed to try while we were waiting. Corona-compliant, of course.
